Since 2009 all public bodies have saved over €1.8 billion on energy spend and avoided 6 million tonnes of CO2 emissions.
CEO of SEAI, William Walsh, Former President, stated:

The successful tender we entered provides further validation that the quality of our product, SensorCIS, and our related services (support, additional development, knowledge of energy efficiency tools, etc) continues to meet our client’s requirement.
The system will be used to track progress by public bodies & schools towards their 2030 energy and climate targets as per the Climate Action Plan. There are many differences between the 2020 system and the 2030 system, including a greater emphasis on Carbon Efficiency, Tracking of Buildings, Tracking Travel and more.
Thank you Version 1 for your support and hard work on this tender process. They played no small role in making this SEAI partnership possible. We look forward to a long relationship between our two businesses.
