Rough Sleeper Alert App Partnership with Microsoft and Dublin City Council

This month, the Dublin Region Homeless Executive (DRHE) released the Rough Sleeper Alert app in partnership with Dublin City Council, Ultan Technologies and Microsoft.

The app will allow citizens to report the location of people sleeping rough in Dublin so that the DRHE and the Dublin Simon Community can send their Street Outreach team out to offer them support and emergency accommodation.

Prior to the release, citizens could only report through the telephone and website. However, this new mobile app has made contact with the DRHE more accessible and easy-to-use.

The app will be able to instantly capture the Rough Sleeper location and other information, which also helps the DRHE and Dublin Simon Community expand their assistance grounds and react quicker to any alerts.

Ultan Technologies is proud to play its part in helping services reach the right people.

Thank you Irish Times for January’s coverage on our most recent project, “Rough Sleeper Alert App”, in partnership with Dublin City Council, Microsoft, and Dublin Region Homelessness Executive.

This recognition means a great deal to all of us, and as the evenings grow colder – it’s important to enable people an accommodation for the night.

Download the Rough Sleeper Alert app today and help the people sleeping rough.
